AFP California Capital Chapter Excellence Recognized Yet Again! (Image)	7/22/2008
AFP International annually recognizes outstanding chapters with its "Ten Star "awards. The Chapter Ten Star Award honors those chapters that align their objectives with AFP’s current strategic plan and encourages them to perform specific activities designed to increase professionalism within the profession, as well as public awareness of the importance of philanthropy. The nomination form contains 15 criteria, and chapters are required to accomplish 10 of them in order to qualify for the award. A few of the criteria, such as completing the chapter accord process on time or holding an event about ethics, are required. However, chapters do have some choices in determining which of other criteria they wish to meet.

CFRE Application Summary for Initial & Recertifications	7/22/2008
Applications for both Initial Certificatin and Recertification require candidates to document information in four (4) categories: Education; Professioal Practice; Professional Performance; and Service. The application works on a point system. Candidates must document a minimum number of points in EACH categroy in order to be approved. Organizing your information in an on-going manner is highly recommended. We hope this application summary proves helpful.
